Method 1: Emailing key details

You can email the details of a trip (such as prices and times) during the booking process whenever you see Email Icon. This feature provides a quick and convenient way of gathering feedback on the details of a trip before booking it.

To email travel details:

  1. Click on the email icon. A new window opens.
  2. By default, the traveller's email address will appear in the Send email to this address box. If you want to remove this email address, you will need to enter an additional one first (as there must always be at least one email address in the box) and then click the cross.
  3. To enter additional email addresses, simply click in an empty box and type them in. Click anywhere else on the screen when you are finished.

    Note: Pressing enter after typing in an email address will send the whole email - this may be before you have had the chance to enter other addresses or type out a message.

  4. If necessary, enter email addresses in the CC Email field in the same way.
  5. The subject line of the email will automatically be completed with details of the trip. However, you can click in the box and edit it if you wish.
  6. If you would like to include a message in the main body of the email (e.g. "what do you think of these dates and times?"), type it in the Message box.
  7. When you have finished, click Send email. The email will be sent in the standard HTML format. If you decide you don't want to send the email, simply click Close to return to the booking.
