Step 4: Flight details page

The Flight Details page is an opportunity to check the details of the flights before you add them to the itinerary. The following features may be available:

Low cost add ons

Baggage check-in for low cost airlines is likely to incur an additional charge. Choose to check in either online or at the airport desk. If you choose to check baggage into the hold some low cost carriers will not permit you to check in online. Hand baggage restrictions apply to all airlines. Check with the relevant airline on hand baggage restrictions to ensure you qualify for online check-in.

Unused tickets

If the unused tickets option is enabled for your organization, you will be able to redeem the value of unused tickets against new flight bookings. The unused ticket vendor must match one of the vendors involved in the new booking.

The total cost of the flight will be updated after you have selected one of the unused ticket options. The value of the unused ticket, minus any re-issue costs, is taken from the total fare value to give a revised fare.

If you use an unused ticket that is more expensive than the booking, the total fare will be reduced to zero. However, you will not be able to store the extra "credit" to use on another booking - unused tickets can only be used once.

To complete the Flight Details page:

If applicable, select a reason code.
If you wish to make any special requests, expand the Additional information section and type them into the box. The feature allows you to enter special requests, to be viewed by the agent handling the booking. Note that you are not able to paste text into the field. Additional handling fees will apply to requests made via the special requests box.
Click the Fare Rules link to see the terms and conditions of the airline(s).
If you agree with the terms and conditions, select the I accept the terms and conditions check box and click Add to itinerary.
