Narrative fields (free-text fields) provide an area for an employee to type a comprehensive answer, or explanation, regarding their spending. Narrative fields do not have a specific bearing on the allocation of the value of a transaction but can be useful for tracking the reasons for Spend Wizard expenditure.
Narrative fields appear on the Comments tab and have a limit of 500 characters. If multiple narrative fields are attached, their order will be determined by their display sort order values.
