Description |
General Use Currencies |
These are the currencies which appear in general usage throughout the application, for example, on report drop downs where currency is a general filter field. This allows you to simplify the currency lists from hundreds to the core currencies used by your organization. |
Available Source Currencies |
These are the currencies that will appear in the Source Currency drop-down list when a user goes to create a cash claim or requisition. This is the currency the purchase was, or will be, made in. Note: The Source Currency label may have been customized to something else unique to the organization. |
Available Billing Currencies |
These are the currencies that will appear in the Billing Currency drop-down list when a user goes to create a cash claim or requisition. In the case of a cash claim, this is the currency the employee wants to be reimbursed in. In the case of a requisition, this is the currency the user will be billed in for the purchases made. Note: The Billing Currency label may have been customized to something else unique to the organization. |
Available Source Country |
This is an alternative list that can be configured to control the contents of the Source Country list displayed to an employee when making a cash or requisition claim. The use of this list is optional and is an alternative to Source Currency. If used, this becomes the country the purchase was made in. When the source country is selected by the user, the exchange rate will automatically be defaulted using the appropriate currency. For example, if the source country is France, the exchange rate will be against the Euro. |
