Charge groups

Access to functions in Shared Travel Services is managed via group memberships. In order to view and select certain information, an employee must belong to a group that has been allocated the appropriate rights to perform that task. For example, to use a certain charge code against a transaction, an employee must belong to the specific charge group to which the charge code belongs.

Once the new charge group is created, you can assign codes to the group and then add employees to the charge group.

Note: If an employee ceases to be part of a charge group, the charge codes will be automatically removed from the employee's favourites and default settings.

The set up of charge groups is unique to your organization and can be viewed and managed by clicking the Charge Groups button on the Administration Overview diagram (Employee view). The Charge Groups screen will display the charge groups created for your organization.
