Templates
Templates can be created in order to save you time if you book the same trip frequently. A single template can contain as many different travel types as you require. The Template manager and the Search templates tools are accessed from the main Travel Menu.
To create a new template:
- In the Travel Menu, click Templates and then Template manager.
- Summarize what the journey will be in the Template name box, for example: "Montreal to Vancouver Rail".
- Select whether the template will be for company or personal use.
- Select a travel type from the Traffic types menu and click Add.
- Enter information in the next page in the usual way. Instructions can be found in any of the Step 2 booking topics in this guide, for example: "Step 2: Book Hotel Page".
- At the bottom of the page, click Save.
- You will be taken back to the Template manager page. From here you can add further travel types to the template if you wish (see step 4). After you add further travel types to the template, you must click Save on the Template Manager page.
- From the Template summary table, under the Action column, you can edit a section using the edit icon or delete it altogether using the trash can icon. To book the trip, click the arrow icon.
- Now that you have created the template, in future you can search for it and use it to save yourself time by using Search templates in the main Travel Menu.
