Note: Cancelling or amending some/all of an itinerary that has been booked may incur charges.
If you change your mind about any segment that you have added to the itinerary, it is easy to cancel it, or the whole itinerary, before the booking process is complete. In many cases, cancellations can also be made in Manage Travel after you have clicked Create travel request or Book now. Segments of an itinerary are cancelled from the Itinerary details page. If you are on a different page to this and decide you want to cancel, navigate to the page from the Travel Menu - click on Itinerary and then either View details or Search itineraries. To cancel the whole itinerary, click on Cancel itinerary in the top right of the page or to cancel just one portion, click on Cancel in the relevant segment. If you are cancelling an itinerary that has been booked, you would then need to also click Submit request.
Amending a segment of an itinerary works in a similar way and is possible for segments where the Amend link is present. After clicking Amend, you are essentially taken to step 2 of the booking process for that travel type. So, if you were a amending a hotel segment, you would be taken to an Amend hotel page (which is essentially the Book Hotel page).
For amending a segment that has been booked:
When you reach step 4, for example the Hotel Details Page, instead of clicking Add to itinerary, you would click Submit request and complete the next stages in the usual way. Provided that the amendment is possible (you may see an "Amend requested" status on the Itinerary details page and intervention by the agency may be required), the amended segment will replace the original.
