Searching for departments, level 2, and level 3 TAN prefixes

Refer to this section the first time you need to carry out a search.

Searching for a department, level 2 or 3 TAN prefix is a frequent task when using the TAN System and is referred to repeatedly in this Help System. Therefore, the steps have been described once, below.

The results list of departments, level 2, and level 3 TAN prefixes is presented as a tree view, meaning a department can be expanded to reveal the level 2 TAN prefixes associated with it and a level 2 TAN prefix can be expanded to reveal the level 3 TAN prefixes associated with it.

1. Choose to search by department, level 2 or 3 TAN prefix from the Search by drop-down menu.
2. In the Enter department, level 2 or level 3 TAN prefix field, type in the relevant text.
3. Click Search.
4. Select the appropriate result by clicking on it.

   Tip: If required, you can filter the results by using the drop-down menu to show only active, inactive or expired entries.
