Before the TAN System can be used, roles need to be assigned. The user profile records managed by Manage Profile exist in the TAN system. Profile acts as the master record for all users within the TAN system. The replication of user profiles from the profile system to the TAN user directory is nightly.
A user with the System Administrator role or the User Management role has rights to search for a user present in the TAN system and assign them roles. Roles control their user privileges. System Administrators can also modify the role of an existing user.
When assigning or modifying user roles, you can cancel the entire operation at any time by clicking Cancel.
Navigate to the Manage Users section using the TAN System menu on the left side of the screen.
