Unmap employee from account

If an employee is mapped (linked) to the wrong account, or you want to delete the employee from the system, you need to remove the mapping (unmap them) first.

Note: If your organization has the Account Mapping - Restrict Remapping of Virtual Accounts implementation option enabled, you won't be able to unmap virtual accounts (eg. cash, requisition and travel requisition accounts). In this situation, the Grey head and shoulders with white cross in red circle does not display.

To unmap an employee from an account:

  1. From the main menu, select Administration > Overview > Account Management.

    The Account Search window appears.

  2. Use the search criteria defined in the Search for Account procedure to narrow the search for the account you want.
  3. Click Search.

    The Account Search screen appears.

  4. Click the name of the account issuer to view the details of the mapped account.
  5. To remove the account mapping, click Grey head and shoulders with white cross in red circle.
