Apply rate dimension to a rate type

Once you have set up rate dimensions for standard Spend Wizards, you can apply them to a rate type.

Note: If you have an existing rate type set up, eg. for a daily allowance, we suggest you create a new rate type if you intend to apply a new rate dimension to it. If you add a new rate dimension to an existing rate type, it will overwrite all the rate amounts you currently have set up, and clear the audit history.

To apply or modify a rate dimension to a rate type:

1. Click to the right of the rate type you want to add a dimension to.

   The Out of Pocket Expense Rates screen appears.

2. Click Modify Rate Dimensions.

   The Edit Rate Dimensions dialogue box appears.

3. Select the dimension(s) you want to add from the drop-down lists.

   Note: You can have up to four rate dimensions for each rate type.

4. Click Save.
