Delete account

If granted the applicable administration right (Admin - Remove Card Accounts), you will be able to delete an unmapped account. This will remove the account from the system and all transactions on it. It will also stop any future transactions being loaded on this account so it is an option you need to be particularly careful with.

To delete an account:

  1. If the account is mapped to an employee, the first thing you must do is unmap the employee.
  2. From the main menu, select Administration > Overview > Account Management.

    The Account Search window appears.

  3. Use the search criteria defined in the Search for account procedure to narrow the search for the account you want.
  4. Click Search.

    The Account Search screen appears.

  5. Click the name of the account issuer to view the details of the unmapped account.

    If you have the applicable administration right and the account is unmapped, you will see a Red skull and cross bones in white circle with red outline icon to the right of the account details.

  6. Click Red skull and cross bones in white circle with red outline to the right of the account you want to delete.
